Cold

The cold felt good, so good against her hot skin.

She just didn’t know how much longer she could wait. She wasn’t even sure what she was waiting for anymore.

So she drank in the cold and let it take her. She shed her clothes and stood naked under the winter moon. She let the frost block out everything else in her mind and slow her pulse and calm her mind. And it just felt so good against the fire burning in her.
