Rain

She walked into the rain
And let it mix with her hair,
Form drops on her lashes, and
Quivering menisci on her coat.

She walked into the rain
And through it to the station
Before it occurred to her
People may think she needs an umbrella.

She walked into the rain
And did not want anything
To separate them, not even her skin,
She and the rain.
